To log into your network account the first time, you'll use firstinitialmiddleinitial.lastname as your userid. (example: jd.doe)  If you don't have a middle name, it's just your first name initial.lastname- j.doe.  The initial password contains two characters usually, $t,  (if not, information is available at the IT Help Desk ext. 2002), then your date of birth: mmddyyyy

So, for example:  jd.doe    $t01011995

After your initial login, you will be forced to change your password following specific criteria to make it a strong password.
